Zoals jullie in de afgelopen artikelen hebben kunnen lezen hebben wij persoonlijk weer veel gelezen en al dan wel of niet onze <em>reading<\/em> <em>challenge<\/em> gehaald. Bij het lezen gaat het uiteraard niet alleen om de getallen in je eigen opgezette challenge, maar vooral ook om het plezier van het lezen en het ontdekken van nieuwe boeken. Het is een boek waarin zij verteld over (bijna) alles in haar leven wat haar gevormd heeft tot de powervrouw die zij momenteel is. Dit boek is al een paar jaar uit maar ik heb het pas opnieuw herontdekt. Hierin staan mooie foto’s en verhalen van mensen die wonen of verblijven in de grote stad New York. Geen \u00e9\u00e9n verhaal en persoon is hetzelfde, iedereen heeft zijn of haar eigen levenservaring. In sommige verhalen kun je jezelf terug vinden, wat het boek extra mooi maakt. Dit boek gaat om Arthur en Ben.<\/p>\n<p>Arthur is in New York voor de zomer, maar wat Broadway hem geleerd heeft is dat het universum een showstopping-romance kan geven, wanneer je het minst verwacht.<\/p>\n<p>Ben denkt dat het universum onzin is. Als het universum hem zou helpen, zou hij niet op weg zijn naar het postkantoor met een doos met spullen van zijn ex-vriendje.<\/p>\n<p>Maar wanneer Arthur en Ben elkaar ontmoeten – schattig op het postkantoor, wat heeft het universum precies voor hen in petto?<\/p>\n<p>Misschien niets. Ze worden tenslotte gescheiden.<br \/>\nMisschien alles. Ze worden tenslotte herenigd.<br \/>\nMaar wat als je een eerste date niet helemaal kunt vastleggen. . . of een tweede eerste date. . . of een derde?<br \/>\nWat als Arthur te hard probeert om het te laten werken. . . en Ben het niet hard genoeg probeert<br \/>\nWat als het leven niet zo echt is zoals een Broadway-toneelstuk?<br \/>\nMaar wat als het wel is?<\/p>\n<p>Dit is een fijn leesbaar en romantisch boek die vele mensen aan gaat spreken. Het bevat daarnaast ook rubrieken met leestips en verschillende artikelen die je gidsen door trends en fenomenen in de wereld van boeken en literatuur. Erg handig! Als je op zoek bent naar nog meer leestips, dan kun je die hierin zeker terugvinden. Als je daarnaast erg ge\u00efnteresseerd ben in fotografie en kunst, dan dit ook een mooi boek om doorheen te bladeren.
